This Tool can be used to generate expected uplift pressures on roofs using calculations in accordance with ASCE 7 (05, 10 16 or 22) standards.
The uplift pressures are used to generate a report that can be reviewed by a licensed Engineer, when required, and/or utilized to determine tested roof assemblies appropriate for a roofing project. The Tool also utilizes these pressures to create a report outlining roof system fastening patterns (for mechanically fastened systems only) which will meet Amrize Building Envelope LLC requirements for the roofing project.
The proper calculation of uplift pressures and fastening patterns is reliant upon information provided by the user of this Tool, the accuracy of which Amrize Building Envelope LLC has no control over. The user of this Tool is responsible for seeking assistance, if necessary, in order to provide accurate information.
The user of any report created with this Tool is solely responsible for its content and accuracy with respect to complying with Amrize Building Envelope LLC Roofing Specifications, project requirements and all applicable regulatory codes. These calculations do not take precedence over local building codes.
